Egypt hosts the Climate Summit.. Environment discusses funding sources, preparations and divisions of the City of Peace in preparation for COP27

Egypt has begun the countdown to hosting the largest international summit in the field of climate change.. On November 6, Sharm El-Sheikh will host the COP27 climate conference.

The state is working in full swing to transform the city of Sharm El-Sheikh into a green and environmentally friendly city in the transport, electricity, accommodation and hiking sectors.. In addition to following up on the latest equipment of the conference hall, the garden, and the green and blue area for the side events of the summit.

Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, reviewed the executive position and the preparations for the COP27 climate conference.

the green Zone

The Green Zone is the area designated for the Egyptian government and deals with a number of events, including thematic days, which deal with a range of issues and their relationship to climate change.

Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, announced the opening of reservations for pavilions and side events in the Green Zone for those wishing to participate in the conference, including youth, NGOs, and corporate organizations from Egypt and the world, which was held in the Peace Garden during the Climate Conference.

The Ministry of Environment also follows up the arrival and installation of structures and murals for exhibitions, registration offices and services in the participating countries during the conference, in the Green Zone, as well as following up the infrastructure construction in that area.
