Lieutenant General Engineer Kamel Al-Wazir, Minister of Transport, Marc Baretti, the French Ambassador to Cairo, met at the headquarters of the Ministry of Transport in the New Administrative Capital, to discuss strengthening joint cooperation between the two sides in the various fields of transport.
At the beginning of the meeting, Kamel Al-Wazir welcomed the French ambassador, praising the positive cooperation between the two sides in implementing a number of projects such as metro and railway projects, as well as the existing cooperation between the ministry and a number of French companies in the field of managing and operating a number of transport projects, such as the French company RATP, which manages and operates the third line. For the metro and the light electric train, and the CMA company, which manages and operates the Tahya Misr multi-purpose station in Alexandria Port.
For his part, the French ambassador to Cairo affirmed the depth of the Egyptian-French relations and the strategic partnership between the two sides in various fields, including the field of transport, and congratulated the Minister of Transport on moving to the ministry's headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.
