Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, met with Leslie Reid, Director of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Egypt, and her accompanying delegation, at the Ministry's general office, to discuss cooperation in the health sector.
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, explained that aspects of cooperation and support that have existed with the agency for 40 years have been discussed, and that cooperation will continue in more projects that provide sustainable health care services for the benefit of public health and the Egyptian citizen.
Abdel Ghaffar indicated that the minister discussed during the meeting aspects of cooperation in the national project for family development, which came at the top of the priorities of cooperation projects.
