Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, said that the economic forum, which is being held on the sidelines of the celebration of 50 years of Egyptian-Emirati relations, comes within the framework of the Arab Republic of Egypt hosting the Summit of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27) for the year 2022 in Sharm El-Sheikh from 6-18 November 2022.
She added: In light of the Egyptian state's orientation to enhance efforts for environmental sustainability and green recovery in Egypt and African countries alike, the Economic Forum will also address the ongoing preparations for the Climate Conference Summit.
She said during the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Egyptian-Emirati relations in a major celebration held by the governments of the two countries, that a cultural-media forum will be organized on the second day of the celebration, which will include sessions dealing with the history of cultural cooperation between Egypt and the UAE.
