Dr. Hisham Al-Askari, Executive Vice President of the Egyptian Space Agency, an expert on Earth sciences systems at Chapman University, said that if temperatures continue to rise in this way until 2030, we will be in a serious problem.

He pointed to the need to take measures to mitigate these climate changes, and their impact on agricultural production in particular, explaining the importance of using remote sensing systems to monitor the Earth's temperature, and its impact on water availability.

This came during the activities of a technical session entitled "Technological Applications to Improve Water Resources Management", within the activities of the Fifth Cairo Water Week, which started this morning under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
