Minister of Social Solidarity, Nevin Al-Kabbaj, said that the allocations for the relief item in the ministry's investment plan for this year amounted to 120 million pounds.
The Minister of Solidarity explained that the item was subsidized with 10 million pounds, in order to purchase additional relief missions to support the 27 centers nationwide, in addition to the ones in stores.
In this context, Nevin Al-Qabbaj confirmed that relief workers are trained, whether in the directorates or through the General Administration of Relief.
The Minister of Social Solidarity had directed to raise the degree of preparedness within the relief centers at the republic level in preparation for facing the climatic changes in the fall season and the arrival of the winter season and the accompanying rains that may reach torrential levels with the approach of winter.
The Minister of Solidarity also directed the start of implementing precautionary measures and measures in preparation for facing any potential accidents or calamities, especially in the governorates most prone to rain.
