The American engineering consultancy ENR has chosen the Toshka Southern Villages development project in Egypt, as the best environmental project in the world.

Abul-Ezz added, in his speech to "Sky News Arabia": "New areas are being cultivated with important strategic crops without the use of chemicals in agriculture. The director of the South Valley Agricultural Research Station in Toshka explained that this project expands every year, and large and new areas are added to it, and focuses on growing strategic crops on a larger scale, such as wheat, corn, and dates.
