"Today, Egypt marks the 49th anniversary of the October victory, the day of pride and dignity, the day the Egyptian army set out to defy the impossible and excel in the most difficult situations," President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi stated.
This occurred during President Abdel Fattah El-presence Sisi's today, Tuesday, of the 36th educational symposium of the armed forces, headlined "October is the will of a country," commemorating the 49th anniversary of the historic October War.
The President went on to say that the October triumph was meant to live on in the conscience of the whole nation and the peace-loving nation.
He went on to say that the win in October is a day to demonstrate the Egyptian man's potential and dominance in the most trying situations.
President El-Sisi emphasised that Egypt did not battle to defend its country, but rather to establish peace, which it achieved.
