The Grand Egyptian Museum project is one of the most important national projects carried out by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, in cooperation with all Egyptian state institutions. To become one of the largest museums in Egypt and the Middle East, bearing among its halls a new vision of the ancient Egyptian heritage. The museum includes all aspects of the richness and cultural diversity of Egypt since the prehistoric era to the present time; This is due to the various archaeological and heritage collections included in the museum, as the museum is being built on an area of ​​117 acres, to include 100,000 artifacts from various Pharaonic eras in Egyptian history.

Museum display equipment

The General Supervisor of the Grand Egyptian Museum project and the surrounding area confirmed that 90% of the engineering work for the permanent exhibition halls has been completed, as well as the completion of the works of museum display equipment, which includes a number of curtains, bases for artifacts, as well as installation units at an advanced rate. The construction of fences and security gates was also carried out at a rate of 90%.
