Announced Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Egypt advanced five places in the Global Innovation Index during the year 2022, as it ranked 89th globally out of 132 countries, according to the report issued by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) compared to 94th place last year.
Dr. pointed out. Mahmoud Saqr, President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, highlighted Egypt's progress in many indicators related to scientific research and information and communication technology, as Egypt ranked 15th out of 36 low-middle-income countries.
