The Arab Water Council in collaboration with the Ministry of
Environment will kick off the Environment and Development Forum 2022 activities
today, Sunday, with the slogan "The Road to Sharm El-Sheikh, the Climate
Conference."
According to Dr. Mahmoud Abu Zeid, head of the Arab Water
Council, the topics that will be discussed during the forum's activities
include eight main axes, all of which address the challenges of climate change (cop27) on the agendas of most countries around the world and focus on food and water security in light
of climate change, as well as clean and renewable energy. Sustainable
development, methods of preserving the environment, biodiversity protection,
carbon dioxide emission control, as well as sustainable transportation and
cities.
