Dr. Hany Sweilem, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, discussed with Annika Strandhull, Minister of Climate and Environment of Sweden, the use of Swedish expertise in developing northern lakes in Egypt; To improve their environmental conditions and biodiversity.
This came on the sidelines of the participation of the Minister of Irrigation in the activities of the World Water Week, in the Swedish capital, in the presence of Ambassador Ahmed Adel, the Egyptian ambassador to Sweden.
Dr. Swailem praised the joint cooperation efforts and the desire to develop them during the coming period with the Swedish side, and to work on developing groundwater management and building the capacities of cadres working in this field.
