Dr. Khaled Abdulgafar, Minister of Health and Population,
said that the epidemiological curve of cases of the coronavirus disease
indicates a 55% decrease in infections, as well as a 37% decrease in deaths,
noting that the follow-up of total occupancy rates in screening and isolation
hospitals of the Ministry of Health and Population indicates a decrease in the
numbers of those receiving treatment for coronavirus.
During today's meeting of the Council of Ministers, chaired
by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, at the Government House in the new city of Alamein,
the Council of Ministers reviewed a report by Dr. Khaled Abdulgavar, Minister
of Health and Population, on the latest developments in the coronavirus
epidemiological situation locally and globally.
