Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Prime
Minister, Dr. Moustafa Madbouly, as well as the new ministers after their
swearing-in at the Republican Palace in the New Alamein City.
The Spokesman for Presidency said the President welcomed the
new ministers, wishing them success in their mission in order to live up to the
aspirations of the Egyptian people and contribute to achieving the state’s
strategy and major goals and to protecting its interests and resources.
President El-Sisi stressed on the new ministers to show
impartiality, objectivity and dedication and to solidify the principle of
efficiency and outstanding performance. He also underlined the importance of
exerting utmost efforts as a firm management approach to uphold the interest of
the homeland in the first place, given the huge responsibilities they are
assuming amid international changes that reflected internally on world
countries, including Egypt, and imposed numerous challenges that require relentless
and persistent work with a robust will.
The President urged the new ministers to accurately identify
all tools and capabilities of their ministries and their affiliated
institutions and authorities, and to improve their management. This aims to
maximize the output of their ministries’ capabilities and upgrade their work
methods, in order to achieve the utmost benefit and return possible. The
President underlined the need to pay special attention to the efficiency of the
implementation mechanisms as a decisive factor in the success of the planning
to ensure it becomes a tangible reality.
President El-Sisi gave directives to develop training and
qualifying programs and enhance the capacity of human cadres, particularly the
youth, while focusing on the outstanding elements. Those are considered to be a
promising group characterized by practical and intellectual efficiency, in
addition to their ability to generate ideas to address the various issues in an
innovative, creative and untraditional manner.
The President underscored the importance of the regular
engagement with the citizens and of providing them with the best services in
their respective ministries, while disseminating awareness regarding the
domestic, international and regional challenges facing the state. He also
highlighted the need to increase public awareness with regard to the efforts
exerted, achievements made as well as the developments taking place as part of
the comprehensive development process currently underway across Egypt and in
its governorates.
Prime Minister, Dr. Madbouly, and the new ministers
underscored their resolve to work diligently and build on the achievements and
studies made to complete and implement them. They also stressed their
commitment to the coordination among the ministries and various state
authorities and sectors so as to boost the implementation process of the
state’s programs and plans. They pointed out that the government is keen on
accelerating the pace of achievement of the various national projects and on implementing
all assignments entrusted to it.
