The Minister of Environment, Dr. Yasmine Fouad, presented Egypt's experience in issuing green bonds to finance projects adapting to the requirements of facing the repercussions of climate change and reducing carbon emissions.
This came during her participation, via video conference, in a forum entitled “Towards COP27: The African Regional Forum on Climate Initiatives for Financing Climate Projects and Sustainable Development Goals, ”Organized by the Egyptian Presidency of the COP27 Climate Summit, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and the United Nations High-Level Climate Champions for COP27. 26 and COP 27, from August 2-4, at the United Nations Conference Center in Addis Ababa.
