Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, presented a report by Dr. Walaa Sheta, CEO of the Science, Technology and Innovation Funding Authority, about the STDF announcement, in cooperation with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), opening the door for progress for scientific cooperation programs between Egypt and Japan, which are divided into (joint scientific cooperation projects, scientific workshops and seminars).
The report indicated that the main objective of the joint scientific cooperation projects is to support partnerships between the two sides, and to enhance cooperation between Egyptian and Japanese research teams in research projects.
