The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics issued the annual bulletin "Trade exchange between Egypt and the most important East Asian countries" in 2021. The bulletin deals with the volume of foreign trade (exports - imports) with the most important East Asian countries.

The total value of exports to East Asian countries amounted to $6.6 billion in 2021, compared to $4.1 billion in 2020, an increase of 62.8%.

The total value of imports from East Asian countries reached $25.8 billion in 2021, compared to $20.8 billion in 2020, an increase of 24.3%.
