President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met today, Tuesday, with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mohamed Abdel-Aty, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Abbas Helmy, Commander of the Air Force, Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Urban Planning, and Major General A.H. Ihab Al-Far, head of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, Major General A.H. Walid Abu Al-Majd, Director General of the National Service Projects Authority of the Armed Forces, Major General Issam Jalal, Director of Water Department in the Armed Forces, Major General Tamer Mukhtar, Assistant Commander of the Air Force for Engineering Affairs, and Lt. Colonel Pilot Bahaa El-Din sheep.
The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that the meeting dealt with the follow-up to the gigantic national project for agricultural production, "The New Delta", which aims to increase the agricultural area in Egypt along the El-Dabaa axis by one million feddans in its early stages, subject to expansion in the following future stages. Its scope is several pivotal projects for agricultural development, including the "Egypt's Future" project.
