The Long Live Egypt Fund launched new convoys to support the most vulnerable families, elderly care homes and orphans in 6 governorates, as part of the initiatives in Hana, Al Shafa and Dokan Al Farha to provide food and personal care supplies to deserving groups in the most needy areas.
For his part, the Executive Director of the Long Live Egypt Fund, Tamer Abdel Fattah, said that the convoys include the distribution of 11 tons of poultry, and 1,700 packages of personal care products for the benefit of 1,465 beneficiaries in nursing homes and orphans, and 4,400 families with priority care in 6 governorates: Cairo, Giza, Sharqia, Port Said, Red Sea, and Matrouh, where the distribution includes the neighborhoods of Al-Mahrousa, Manshiyet Nasser, Dar Al-Hurriya, Dar Al-Madina Al-Munawwarah, Dar My Children, Al-Agoza Girls House, Ahl Al-Rashad Charitable House, Caritas Center, Education House in Giza, and Al-Amal House for the Care of Homeless Children. and orphans, as well as the Home for Good People to Care for Alzheimer’s Patients, the Home for the Improvement of Women’s Conditions for the Care of the Elderly, and the Al-Waha and Al-Azima Institutions for Rehabilitation of Addiction Recoverees.
He added that the Bel-Hana and Al-Shifa initiative is one of the activities of the social protection axis, through which the Fund implements several initiatives to support the most vulnerable families and lift the burdens of living on their shoulders. The Fund and partner civil society organizations after updating them through the Ministry.
