Hedaya Malak, a female national taekwondo player, won the bronze medal in the -67kg weight category at the Tokyo Olympic Games, which will be hosted by the Japanese capital, Tokyo, from July 23 to August 8. It is the second Olympic medal for the Egyptian champion who previously won the bronze in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Seif Issa, the national taekwondo team player, also won the bronze medal in the 80-kg weight category at the Tokyo Olympic Games, hosted by the Japanese capital, Tokyo, from July 23 to August 8.
This is Seif's second bronze medal for the Egyptian mission, as Hedaya Malak was crowned with bronze, weighing -67 kg, for taekwondo.
Issa won the bronze after winning the bronze medal match against Norway's Richard Ordemann, 12-4.
Seif Issa (ranked 5 Olympia) played the bronze medal match after losing in the semi-finals to Russian champion Maxim Khramtkov, ranked first in the Olympia, 13-1.
