1- International Day of Disabled Persons

 

  • on December 3
  • International Day of People with Disabilities on the 3rd of December of every year, is an international day designated by the United Nations since 1992 to support people with special needs.

 

2- Procession of royal mummies

  • On December 4
  • The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities is preparing for a huge royal procession to transport royal mummies from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir to the place of their permanent display in the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.

 

3- Human Rights Day

  • on December 10
  • Human Rights Day is an event that the world celebrates annually on December 10 of each year. This day was decided to be celebrated by the United Nations General Assembly, on December 10, 1948

 

4- Arab Water Week

  • From 5 to 9 December
  • The Arab Water Week is a week that the Arab countries celebrate every year, from the date of December 5 to 9, which is organized by the Arab Association for Water Utilities (ACWA) in cooperation with the Ministry of Water and Irrigation and under the umbrella of the Arab Ministerial Council for Water / League of Arab States.

 

5- The Sixteen Days of Activism campaign against gender-based violence

  • The Sixteen Days of Activism Campaign Against Gender-Based Violence is an international campaign to confront violence against women and girls. The campaign is conducted every year from November 25, which is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to December 10.

 

6- UN Arabic Language Day

  • It was decided to celebrate the Arabic language on this date, being the day on which the United Nations General Assembly issued Resolution No. 3190 in December 1973.
