Cairo International Airport is preparing to receive international delegations participating in the eighth session of the "Ministerial Conference of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation for Women" in the new administrative capital, from 5 to 8 July, which will witness Egypt assume the presidency of the ministerial conference for the next two years.
Informed sources at Cairo Airport said that a public relations team was formed to receive the delegations, finish their arrival procedures and provide them with all assistance, as well as provide all assistance upon their departure from Cairo after the end of the conference.
The sources added that the airport is scheduled to receive official delegations from Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Lebanon, Iraq, Tunisia, Libya, Palestine, Chad, Guinea, Turkey, Senegal, Mali, Nigeria, Cote d'Ivoire, Uganda, Islamic Pakistan, Islamic Afghanistan and Gabon. , in addition to other countries.
President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi directed a good preparation to host the conference, which consolidates Egypt’s role in the field of women’s empowerment, and culminates the state’s efforts in issuing national legislation to support gender equality and women’s empowerment in various corners of the state, especially the Council of Ministers and Parliament, the latest of which is the new procedures that It was recently approved to allow women to be appointed for the first time in Egypt's modern history to the State Council and the Public Prosecution Office.
