The Media Production City agreed with one of the film production companies for the city’s Audiovisual Heritage Revival Center to carry out restoration work on 50 old feature films, which represent prominent landmarks in the history of Egyptian cinema, as they left a great impact on the public and critics when they were shown over the past decades. .
The center has already finished restoring the film “Les Misérables” by director Atef Salem and is now ready to show it again in its new restored version. The restoration of the rest of this group of films is being completed successively, in the near future, with the aim of displaying them with the highest levels of quality and purity.
