Dr. Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance, reviewed the ongoing efforts to achieve the budget goals, especially continuing to maintain financial stability in light of the current global crisis, in addition to working to increase the supply of goods and services by improving the investment climate, developing infrastructure, enhancing competitiveness, and investing in the human element. By increasing spending on health and education, in addition to improving productivity with the aim of achieving higher growth rates, while continuing intensive efforts aimed at reducing inflation.
This came during a meeting between President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, today, Sunday, with Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and Dr. Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance.
The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, stated that the meeting dealt with following up on the financial performance indicators of the general budget.
