He added that Egypt is one of the few countries that completed education during the Corona pandemic thanks to the large technological infrastructure it possesses in schools, and we believe in digital transformation in light of the great digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and the jobs of the future that have disappeared, stressing that technology is important in helping the teacher to perform his role, but it cannot be dispensed with. He said during a participatory workshop to conduct a high-level analysis using the DTC framework to understand the extent of Egypt’s current readiness to benefit from digital technology to improve education, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister of Education for Technological Development, that the ministry no longer teaches students for the sake of memorization but to learn for the sake of Life. Curricula and educational materials are available through platforms, and there are platforms for discovering different talents in schools and gifted people. He continued that there are 2,500 schools that have become smart and have a technological structure, and students in the first and second grades of general secondary school are examined electronically through tablet devices, and licenses for private schools are obtained through application via a platform, in addition to applying electronic absence for students, and high school results are corrected electronically. He explained that if technology is parallel to the educational process, it is useless, but it must be within the educational process, noting that there are educational channels in which academic materials are broadcast, and the viewing period is equivalent to two classes in school.
