Today, Thursday, Minister of Transport Kamel El-Wazir directed the necessity of working around the clock and making every effort to complete the implementation of the sectors of the monorail project (East/West Nile) according to the specified timetable.

This came during the Minister of Transport, accompanied by Andy Delon, Vice President of the French company Alstom, inspecting the work sites of the monorail project east of the Nile. To follow up on the progress of the implementation rates of the project, which extends from the Stadium Station in Nasr City to the Adala City Station in the Administrative Capital, and includes 22 stations and is being implemented through a coalition of companies (Alstom - Orascom - Arab Contractors).

This came during the Minister of Transport, accompanied by Andy Delon, Vice President of the French company Alstom, inspecting the work sites of the monorail project east of the Nile. It is noteworthy that the total length of the two monorail projects (East/West Nile) is 100 km, with 35 stations, and the capacity of each line is 600,000 passengers per day. It is planned to increase the number of cars to 8 cars with the increase in population density in the new urban areas it serves.
