Hassan Shehata, Minister of Labor, participated in the first edition of the International Labor Market Conference, held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center, during the period from 13 to 14 of this month of December.

Minister Shehata said in his opening intervention at the round table that this international conference comes amidst unprecedented challenges witnessed by the world of work around the world, which requires more joint action to confront those challenges. He explained that Egypt is always keen to support and support every Arab action. Or joint international in all fields, for the sake of a decent life for all citizens in all parts of the globe, and achieving social peace and stability for all of humanity. There is also a strategy relied upon by the Ministry of Labor in Egypt with all local, Arab and international labor and development partners, based on cooperation protocols, Exchanging experiences and coordination in everything related to the work file.

The Minister stressed that the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, regarding qualifying young people for the new labor market, protecting irregular employment, caring for our workers abroad, integrating people of determination into the labor market, and cooperating with development partners at home and abroad through an ongoing social dialogue to formulate programs and foundations with which we will confront... The current challenges and urgent changes are a roadmap for the Ministry of Labor, which we are working with great interest. He also stressed in this context continued cooperation and coordination with international partners for a world of work in which a decent environment and full social protection are available for all.
