Dr. Maya Morsi, President of the National Council for Women, sent a message to encourage women to participate and cast their votes in the elections, as part of the country’s preparations for the 2024 presidential elections, scheduled to be held domestically during the period from 10 to 12 December 2023.
The head of the National Women's National Committee said, "My message today is to every authentically patriotic Egyptian woman... come down and vote in the 2024 presidential elections... your role was great and honorable... you raised the head of Egypt... and you dazzled the world in all the constitutional entitlements that have passed."
She continued, "Today, Egypt is calling you again...to complete your great national role...this is your right...and the country's right is upon you...and it is your voice that will determine the shape of the future of your daughters and sons...and it is what will preserve the security and stability of our dear country, Egypt."
She added, "Encourage your family and neighbors and come down again... and pray your voice to the world... so that it will know how the Egyptian woman is the back and support for her country... your voice is important and makes a difference... your voice is a trust... and your country is a trust... and Egypt is stronger and more beautiful.."
