“Ministers’ Information” launches a special issue of the most important results of regional and global opinion polls on climate issues

The Information and Decision Support Center of the Council of Ministers issued a special issue that includes a presentation of the most important results of regional and global opinion polls that addressed climate and climate change issues and were carried out by the most famous think tanks, research and polls around the world during the year 2023.

This comes based on the interest of the Information and Decision Support Center of the Council of Ministers in climate change issues, and on the occasion of the launch of the “COP 28” summit activities in the United Arab Emirates.


The release included a survey by the “ASDA’A BCW” Foundation in the United Arab Emirates under the title “A New Reality and a Changing Outlook,” which was conducted on a sample of young people in 18 Arab countries. The survey addressed Arab youth’s vision of climate change and their proposals to reduce its effects in their country, as two-thirds of them affirmed that The Arab youth in the sample (66%) said that they are “very concerned” about climate change in their daily lives, and (71%) of the sample’s respondents believed that global warming is affecting their lives, and this percentage rose to (76%) in North African countries, and (74%) in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, while it reached about two-thirds (63%) in the Eastern Mediterranean countries.
