At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. emphasized Ayman Ashour stressed the importance of cooperation and partnership between Egypt and Belarus in the scientific and research fields, pointing to the depth of relations between the two countries, especially in the fields of higher education and scientific research, which are characterized by a positive nature and fruitful cooperation, pointing to the necessity of exchanging expertise, experiences and scientific research between Egyptian universities and research centers. The Belarusian Minister of Trade referred to cooperation between Egyptian and Belarusian universities, reviewing areas of cooperation with universities such as Ain Shams, Cairo, and Kafr El-Sheikh, including medicine, pharmacy, information technology, artificial intelligence, and others, as well as cooperation with the Academy of Scientific and Technological Research in many research activities and projects, praising the scientific level of the universities. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Belarusian Minister of Trade invited the Minister to participate in the Second Belarusian-Egyptian Forum for University Presidents, scheduled to be held in March 2024 in Belarus.
