President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi arrived a short while ago at the headquarters of the African Intra-Trade Exhibition.
The exhibition aims to increase the rates of intra-African trade and showcase the great investment opportunities and potentials available in the African continent, with the participation of 75 African countries, which makes the exhibition a real launch for enhancing trade and developing exports in all participating sectors, especially the clothing and textiles sector.
The third session of the African Intra-Trade Exhibition will be held at the Egypt Exhibition and Convention Center under the title “Connecting African Markets” and organized by the African Export-Import Bank (Afrexim Bank) in cooperation with the African Union and the Secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement, with the aim of increasing the rates of intra-African trade between African countries and presenting investment opportunities and components. The exhibition will be held at the Al-Manara International Conference Center in New Cairo, to attend the launch activities of the third edition of the Intra-African Trade Exhibition “IATA 2023”.
Upon his arrival, President Sisi was received by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Trade and Industry Engineer Ahmed Samir, and a number of ministers.
The activities of the third edition of the Intra-African Trade Exhibition “IATA 2023”, sponsored by the African Export-Import Bank, the African Union Commission and the Secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Area, are scheduled to continue until Wednesday, with the aim of enhancing trade and investment opportunities.
