In continuation of Egypt’s role since the beginning of the crisis in the Gaza Strip in exerting the utmost effort to advance ceasefire efforts and provide safe access for humanitarian aid to the people of the Gaza Strip, as well as advancing the path of reviving the peace process and a just and lasting settlement of the Palestinian issue on the basis of the two-state solution in accordance with the decisions of international legitimacy, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi participated today, Saturday, in the extraordinary joint Arab-Islamic summit, in Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Egypt's position is firm and clear in supporting the Palestinian cause by advancing the path of reviving the peace process and a just and permanent settlement of the Palestinian issue on the basis of the two-state solution in accordance with the decisions of international legitimacy. In confirmation of this position, President Sisi held 8 meetings with the leaders and leaders participating in the summit.
