The trial operation of the third and final phase of the third line of the metro began today, Sunday, which serves the people of the Imbaba, Al-Buhi, and Al-Qawmiya regions in the north, and the Sudan region, Boulak Al-Dakrour, and Cairo University in the south, in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Transport Kamel Al-Wazir.
The Director of the Ring Road Station, Engineer Alaa Tawfiq, requested permission to approve the start of the trial operation of the third and final phase of the third metro line, during the opening activities of the fifth session of the Smart Transport and Logistics Exhibition and Conference for the Middle East and Africa.
The trial operation of the monorail project east of the Nile at the Field Marshal Tantawi Station, which connects Nasr City, the Fifth Settlement, and the Administrative Capital, has also begun, after the project manager, Engineer Sally Osama, requested permission to begin operation.
