Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly said that all these projects aim to connect Sinai with Egypt so that Sinai is not isolated from the heart of Egypt, as the ambitious claims say.
Madbouly confirmed: “We have a plan to implement 499 km of new railways. We will have a train from Taba that reaches anywhere in Egypt.”
Regarding the development of Al-Arish Port, Madbouly stressed: “Our goal is to transform it into an international port that serves job opportunities and investments. We will arrange all compensation and no one will be harmed. This project is being implemented for the benefit of the people of North Sinai so that it will be a strong international port,” adding that we will raise the efficiency of Al-Arish Port so that it will be an airport. international.
He stressed that we are targeting logistical and free zones in Rafah, Al-Arish and Bir Al-Abd.
This came during a meeting between Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, accompanied by the head of the Sinai Tribes Union, with the sheikhs and elders of North Sinai at the headquarters of the 101st Battalion in Al-Arish, in the presence of Karam Gabr, head of the Media Regulatory Authority, Dr. Diaa Rashwan, head of the State Information Service, and a crowd of media professionals and artists.
