“Prayers for Gaza and praise for the position of the political leadership” during the Egypt Council of Churches conference
Today, the Committee of Priests and Pastors of the Egyptian Council of Churches concluded its eighth annual conference.
This came in the presence of 80 priests and priests from the Orthodox, Evangelical, Catholic and Episcopal churches from various governorates of Egypt.
The conference addressed a number of issues of importance to the life of the shepherd: the spiritual life, the psychological life of the shepherd, and how to deal with difficult personalities in care.
The conference also addressed the issue of homosexuality, medically and in writing, and how to deal with homosexuals.
He concluded with a topic on the geography of the Old and New Testaments.
It is worth noting that prayers were offered by conference members for peace in the Middle East, especially Gaza.
The attendees also appreciated the position of the political leadership in preserving Egyptian national security and the survival of the Palestinian people in their land.
