The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, affirmed his country’s rejection of any threat to Egypt’s safety, saying, “We support it and any decisions that preserve its security and safety.” He added, “Tunisia respects the sovereignty of every country and does not interfere in any country’s internal affairs.”

The Tunisian Foreign Minister said, in a special statement to the Middle East News Agency on the sidelines of the meeting he held with representatives of foreign news agencies accredited in Tunisia, “We are in constant contact with the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to resolve common Arab issues in general and the Palestinian issue in particular in light of the current developments, and there are also meetings.” And permanent contacts,” stressing the depth of Egyptian-Tunisian relations at all levels.

He stressed the importance of unifying the Arabs' speech at all levels and on all issues, especially the Palestinian issue. He said, "The Palestinian issue will be resolved by unifying the Arab position at all levels." Noting that Tunisia's position is firm, clear, and supportive of the Palestinian issue, and its position is in the interest of all Arab countries.

At the level of Egyptian-Tunisian relations, Ammar said, “Egyptian-Tunisian relations are constantly developing, and political relations and political consultations are in complete agreement.” Noting that the relations between the two countries are linked by fraternal ties and are distinguished by long history and durability, describing them as “successful” in all aspects. He described the cooperation between Tunisia and Egypt as fruitful and the relations extend to deep roots, noting that the joint higher committee and the ministerial and subcommittee are in constant communication, which has contributed to developing all areas of cooperation and achieving the bilateral interest between the two countries.
