The First Deputy Speaker of the Jordanian House of Representatives, Representative Abdul Rahim Al-Maaya, praised the “Cairo Peace” summit, which was held in the New Administrative Capital at the invitation of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, and which was attended by many world leaders, including Jordanian King Abdullah II.
He stressed that the summit was clear in the Arab affirmation of the position of Egypt and Jordan rejecting the idea of displacing Palestinians to neighboring countries.
Al-Maayaa said: The Jordanian King and his brother, President Sisi, are working on all axes in order to stop the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip... stressing that coordination and consultation between the two leaderships has been at the highest level and around the clock since the first moment of the outbreak of the “criminal” war.
He added, "The summit placed the international community before its responsibilities and held the world responsible for its silence in the face of the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people." He stressed that the Jordanian king's messages in his speech were clear and held the world responsible for not stopping this aggression.
