Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides, as part of the ongoing consultation between the two presidents regarding developments in the current situation in the Gaza Strip.
This was stated by Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic.
There was agreement on the seriousness of the situation, given the severity of the humanitarian repercussions on civilians, as well as the consequences of expanding the circle of conflict on the stability of the region.
In this regard, Mr. President reviewed the tireless efforts made by Egypt on the path of calm, as well as with regard to the provision and arrival of humanitarian aid to the people of the Gaza Strip.
