The Minister of State for Immigration and the Affairs of Egyptians Abroad, Suha Gendi, said that the Egyptian and Jordanian peoples are "one fabric", praising the efforts of the Egyptians in supporting the Jordanian economy, and their contributions to a number of projects.
This came during a virtual meeting between the Minister of Immigration and the Egyptian community in Jordan, as part of the "An Hour with the Minister" initiative, with the participation of Ambassador Mohamed Samir, Egyptian Ambassador to Amman, Ambassador Ahmed Ismail, Consul General of Egypt in Aqaba, and Ambassador Amr Abbas, Assistant Minister of Immigration for Communities. And a number of representatives of the ministries and institutions of the Egyptian state.
She stressed that the Egyptian citizen, anywhere around the world, comes at the forefront of the political leadership's concerns in the "new republic," and there is keenness to link it to the development processes that take place in all parts of the country.
