Cabinet Spokesman Nader Saad said “Egypt Can with Industry” maximizes the benefit from the Egyptian experiences around the world.
The conference comes in line with the the Egyptian State’s vision in light of the political leadership’s interest in the industry file and in implementation of presidential directives to support the State’s strategy in the field of industrial localisation.
Proceedings of the sixth edition of “Egypt Can” conference kicked off Tuesday under the title “Egypt Can with Industry”, in the presence of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli and a host of high-level officials and investors from the various world countries.
Held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the “Egypt Can with Industry” conference is organized by the Ministry of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs, in cooperation with the Ministries of Trade and Industry, the Public Enterprise Sector, and the Ministry of State for Military Production.
Twelve sessions will be held as part of the conference to discuss a group of industrial areas, including industrial investment, future of industry, as well as developing the industrial societies in Egypt to attain sustainable development through linking the capital market to the industrial development.
As part of Egypt’s preparations for COP27, the “green industry” session will discuss the green transition issue and the most important files in environment and climate.
The session aims to benefit from the experience of the Egyptians abroad in this sphere in order to support Egypt’s strategy for transition to green economy.
“The industry is the locomotive of development in Africa” will be one of the most important sessions in the conference.
