The Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Egypt will hold an important meeting this evening, Thursday, September 5, 2024. This meeting is the fifth for the committee during the current year.

The monetary policy of the Central Bank of Egypt will meet this evening to decide interest rates in Egypt, as the overnight deposit and lending rates and the Central Bank's main operating rate stabilized at 27.25%, 28.25% and 27.75% respectively, and the credit and discount rate at 27.75%.
