Magdy Al-Badawi, Vice President of the Labor Union, revealed the details of Libya’s targeting of bringing in two million workers from Egypt during 2024.
The Vice President of the Labor Union pointed out that coordination had taken place between Egyptian and Libyan officials previously, and an electronic link was established between the two countries. Egyptian workers will be recruited through governments and not individuals, adding that officials had previously agreed that Egyptian companies would have a role in organizing and sending workers to Libya.
