Dr. Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance, confirmed that the Administrative Capital, “Durrat Smart Cities,” is ready to host meetings of Arab finance ministers during next May, in order to exchange Arab experiences and expertise on the financial policy challenges facing Arab countries at the current stage and ways to deal with them. To achieve development goals, especially in light of the successive global economic crises and the accelerating events in the Middle East, which negatively affect development plans in the Arab region.
The Minister reviewed Egypt's efforts during the last period in structural reforms, investment incentives and facilities, which were reflected in attracting direct investments, most notably: the Ras El Hekma deal, expressing his appreciation to the Arab Monetary Fund for its continued support for comprehensive and sustainable development efforts in Egypt.
