A security source confirmed that the video clip that was circulated on one of the pages of an Arab channel on social media, which included the claim that some people assaulted another Sudanese national, is "old", and was previously circulated on social media during the month of November 2023.

The source explained that the truth of the incident is that a report was received by the security services on November 5, 2023, regarding a quarrel in the Second October Police Department in Giza, between the first party: 4 people "of Sudanese nationality", who were injured with various wounds and bruises, and the second party: "two private guards, one of whom was injured with bruises".

The source revealed that the reason for the quarrel was disagreements over the first party's desire to reside in empty residential apartments that they did not own, where the second party was guarding, during which the two parties assaulted each other, causing the injuries they sustained.

The two parties to the quarrel were arrested at the time, and legal measures were taken against them, and the Public Prosecution Office took over the investigation.
