Today, Tuesday, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi took the constitutional oath for a new term lasting for 6 years, at the headquarters of the House of Representatives in the New Administrative Capital, in accordance with the text of Article 144 of the Egyptian Constitution, which stipulates that the President of the Republic, before assuming his duties, shall speak before the House of Representatives. Representatives took the constitutional oath, the text of which is: “I swear by Almighty God to faithfully preserve the republican system, to respect the constitution and the law, to fully care for the interests of the people, and to preserve the independence of the nation and the unity and integrity of its lands.”
