President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi took the constitutional oath for a new term before representatives at the Council headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.
According to the text of Article 144 of the Egyptian Constitution, which stipulates that the President of the Republic, before assuming the duties of his office, shall take the constitutional oath before the House of Representatives, and this is its text: “I swear by Almighty God to faithfully preserve the republican system, to respect the Constitution and the law, and to look after the interests of The people will be fully cared for, and I will preserve the independence of the country and the unity and integrity of its lands.”
