The Cabinet approved during its meeting today, Wednesday, headed by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, a draft decision to establish and form the National Council for Localizing Electronic Chips and Solar Cells Manufacturing Technology.

The National Council for Localizing Electronic Chips and Solar Cells Manufacturing Technology is responsible for approving the strategy for electronic chips and solar cells manufacturing technology, and following up on its update every year or whenever necessary, as well as following up on the implementation of the relevant state agencies of the plans and policies of the electronic chips and solar cells manufacturing technology strategy, and following up on the development of work on existing investments in the field of electronic chips and solar cell manufacturing technology, in addition to examining the problems and obstacles facing them, approving the necessary solutions to overcome investment obstacles in the field of electronic chips and solar cell manufacturing technology, and directing the relevant state agencies to implement them.
