Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid, the official spokesman and Director of the Public Diplomacy Department at the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry received today, Wednesday, a phone call from Lord Tariq Ahmed, British Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa, who discussed the situation in the Gaza Strip.
The two ministers agreed to continue consultations during the coming period on reducing the crisis in Gaza, containing its repercussions, and working to fully implement humanitarian aid that meets the urgent needs of the Palestinian people.
