The Minister of Environment heads to Nairobi to participate in the sixth session of the United Nations Environment Assembly

Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, headed to the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, to participate in the work of the sixth session of the United Nations Environment Assembly, which is being held under the slogan “Effective, comprehensive and sustainable multilateral measures to address climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution,” in which representatives of governments and civil society participate. And the private sector, and the work of this session is chaired by the Kingdom of Morocco, during the period from February 26 to March 1, 2024 at the headquarters of the United Nations Environment Program in Nairobi, Kenya.

On the sidelines of the sixth session of the United Nations Environment Assembly, the Minister of Environment will hold a series of bilateral meetings with her counterparts, environment ministers from Hungary, Sweden, and Germany, to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation and issues of common interest.
