The International Court of Justice has resumed public hearings on the legal consequences of Israeli practices in the occupied territories for a third day.

Today, Egypt participates in the advisory opinion requested by the United Nations General Assembly from the International Court of Justice regarding Israeli policies and practices within the occupied Palestinian territories. Egypt submitted a memorandum to the court on the condition that it conduct an oral pleading that includes affirming the court’s jurisdiction to consider the advisory opinion, as well as the illegality of the occupation, the policies of annexation of lands, and the illegality of the occupation. The legality of demolishing homes and displacing Palestinians, according to Cairo News.
